Inspired by Tiramisu

This tiramisu-inspired dessert is an absolute dream. It is the closest we’ve gotten to pure bliss in the Mike’s Philly Fluff test kitchen. Go ahead and try it out — we guarantee it will not disappoint!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Original Mike’s Philly Fluff

  • 1 cup coffee or espresso sweetened with 1 tbsp of sugar

  • 16 oz cream cheese (make sure it’s room temperature)

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp almond extract (can be omitted or substituted for allergy friendly verson)

  • 8 oz chilled whipped topping

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and almond extract. stir until evenly distributed. In the same mixing bowl, fold in whipping topping. Set bowl to the side.

  2. On a cutting board, horizontally slice a whole Original Philly Fluff into three even sections.

  3. Place the bottom layer in a dish. Brush on one third of the sweetened coffee. After brushing on the coffee, spread one third of the cream mixture on the cake layer.

  4. Place the middle layer of Philly Fluff over the cream you just spread. Repeat step two, creating a tower of cake, coffee, and cream layers. Continue this pattern with the third layer of cake.

  5. Once the final layer of cream is laid, sift cocoa powder on top.

  6. Place dessert in the fridge and let chill — our official recommended chilling time is 24 hours, but we only waited two ;)
